Intel’s Core i7 is getting a lot of attention from both laptop and desktop manufacturers these days mainly because of the amazing performance the CPU class has shown both in benchmarks and in actual usage. With all the top-of-the-line features these gaming laptops have, it will be sure to need a lot of processing power, and that’s where Intel’s Core i7 is top dog.
Some of these features are expected, and it is notable to see the franchise flagships of almost all manufacturers now turning out Blu-Ray drives integral to their units (Do you hear that, Steve Jobs, Cupertino?!?!?). This new beast from MSI has yet to be benchmarked and observed, so it is still quite early to say if this is what it claims to be. Hopefully it will give the big boys — Dell, HP, Acer — and the boutique people — VooDoo, Alienware — a good run for their money.
